HANS FJELLESTAD
ハンス・フィエレスタッド

Los Angeles musician and filmmaker Hans Fjellestad tours and records extensively as a solo artist and in collaboration with numerous players on the experimental music scene in over a dozen countries. A “mad scientist improviser” (International DJ Magazine) and “master of analogue synthesis” (The WIRE), his music has been described as “unbridled sonic freedom … raw, almost shamanic energy that embodies the true essence of unrestricted music” (XLR8R). As filmmaker, Hans is best known as the director of the feature documentary, MOOG, about electronic music pioneer Robert Moog and the currrent Showtime documentary SUNSET STRIP.

ハンス・フェルスタッドはロサンゼルスを拠点として活躍するミュージシャン兼映画監督です。”狂気の科学者インプロバイザー”（インターナショナルDJマガジン）、”アナログ・シンセシスの達人”（The WIRE）の異名をとるハンスは、ソロアーティストとして、また多数のアーティスト達と共演して、十数カ国のエクスペリメンタル音楽シーンで大々的にコンサートツアーやレコーディングを行っています。 映画制作に関しては、電子音楽のパイオニア、ロバート・ムーグに関する素晴らしいドキュメンタリー“Moog”、そして最近ではアメリカの”Showtime”ドキュメンタリー”Sunset Strip”の監督としてもよく知られています。

昨年20周年を迎え初のベスト盤「ReDiscoVer. 」をリリース
2014年7月に、20年間でできた世界中の仲間との繋がりから生まれた７枚目となるアルバム「Konjac-tion」をリリース。
他にヤン富田主催Audio Science Laboratory、Sunshine Love Steel Orchestra、Morgan FisherとのキーボードユニットYumiko Morgan Oscilattors?
としても活動、他 Salyu x Salyu, UA, Ego- Wrappin’, Cibo Matto など、さまざまなアーティストのサポートも務める。

横浜で生まれたマルコス・フェルナンデスは、カリフォルニアで30年以上、パフォーマー、プロデューサー、キュレイターとして過ごしました。米国、カナダ、メキシコ、香港、日本の各地で、ソロのインプロバイザー、フォノグラファーとして公演し、またパーカッショニスト、サウンドアーティストとしてさまざまなアンサンブル、ダンサー、ビジュアルアーティスト達と共演してきました。フェルナンデスの作品はAccretions、Bake/Staalplaat、Circumvention、Disk Union,、Less Than TV,、Pax、Pfmentum、Phonography.org、Public Eyesore、Solitary B他から50点以上発表されています。現在のプロジェクトはMelt、国際オバケ連合、The Metaphors、Wormhole、三沢洋紀と岡林ロックンロールセンター、三輪二郎＆マザーコンプレックスとSixth Tongue。

KIO GRIFFITH
キオ・グリフィス

Kio Griffith is a Los Angeles‑based visual and sound artist, independent curator, and producer. His work includes drawing, painting, sound, video, performance, electronics, language, sculpture and installation. He has exhibited in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Turkey, Belgium and the U.S. 

Griffith’s work is based in the research into the visual and sonic possibilities of the mysteries, myths, and materials embedded within modern life. The compositional process mimics the writing of music and is inspired by the sources of everyday matters of consciousness. In this process, interrelated references of time and space are coordinated into the periphery of mass culture. Generating references from hypermedia and their resonating signals, the “scores” comprise visual and auditory transcriptions.

鎌倉生まれ。ロサンゼルス在住。
Otis/Parsons美術大学Communication Arts学部卒。

彼の制作の源は現代社会の中で掘り起こされる神話、ミステリー、哲学であり、それらに様々な映像と音の要素から醸し出される時間、空間の要素を加え、テーマを想定しながら、自然が持つ大きな連鎖とサイクルを視覚化させることを目的とする。それらの作品は、ドローイング、ペインティング、サウンド、ビデオ、パフォーマンス、立体、インスタレーション等、幅広い表現方法を持つ。

これまで東京、香港、韓国、中国、ベルギー、トルコ、ロンドン、パリ、アメリカ各地で関連する一連のプロジェクトを発展させてきた。
